nice, this is the style I heard the renegade was going to have. It is hard for me to say I would drive a Liberty, but there you go. CRD manual swap would be even better. This is probably a Webasto kit or something, which are pretty solid. reminds me of

Yeah! They aren't even super rare. I see them quite frequently living at the beach. I love this gen Liberty, makes me think of a nicer XJ. The cloth top is the cherry on top.

no CRD option for that bodystyle is the only bummer. Still can get a 6 speed though!

Yep, that's the SkySlider option. They don't offer it any more because after a few years it turns to crap and leaks. The 6spd was only in the '08 version of the new body style (I have one of these). It's the same transmission used in the Wrangler. Taken on it's own, the transmission is also crap, but compared to the 4spd auto it's downright brilliant.

No idea. I just know that they've had issues, so I avoided getting one when I bought mine.
